Years ago I was sitting in my car listening to the radio and "Jesus is love" by Lionel Richie started playing. I clearly heard the Lord's voice say come to me! I was like WHAT????? Are you talking to me??? Immediately the tears started flowing and I was a bit scared. Although I was emotional and I knew what I heard, I ignored the call😩 I was afraid that if I surrendered, I couldn't do all of the things I enjoyed doing. I thought I couldn't listen to R&B anymore ( I LOVE MY MUSIC!!), I couldn't have fun anymore, I couldn't engage in the sin I enjoyed committing😞 I was just afraid of what my life would be like. It wasn't until 2005 when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis/Lupus and dealing with a stressful marriage that I decided to COME to Him! I LOVED to be in control of EVERYTHING but I couldn't control this illness, I couldn't control my husbands actions and I had no one to turn to! THUS began my journey with The Lord!

Right now I am pleased to say I am glad I started that walk! There have been a lot of changes in my life and I still need DELIVERANCE from some things!! My FAITH is off the charts and I'm pleading with The Lord to use me!! I'm like 🙋🏽USE ME, USE ME, USE ME!! I know I'm about to walk in my destiny!! I know it's my season for GRACE and FAVOR!! I'm FAR from PERFECT but God says I'm GOOD ENOUGH!!! This past year, although He has shaken the ground beneath me, I have such a beautiful, sweet PEACE! Unexplainable!!

If you're being called, don't be afraid. He says "BE NOT AFRAID"!!! If He doesn't get you now, you best believe it will be later!! If you're being nudged, loosen those legs and leap! If you think you're not ready because you've done the unspeakable, He'll take you JUST AS YOU ARE!!! If you're ready to fulfill your purpose, know that the unimaginable awaits you!!!
